Halloween! And my pain appointment.

So I haven't gotten to dress up for Halloween for about 3 years or so, and I've felt sad about it. I was either busy or didn't have any good ideas. This year I decided to do it right. And my fibro cooperated.

A shot of my make up. I just used some things I use normally, but with more glitter, sequins and a little bit of face paint. I like how it came out!
Here's my whole costume. I made the dress, and it's actually just one of my lolita dresses worn in a non lolita way. The wings are store bought, but I added all the lace to them to make them better. The pouch and bustle are also made by me. My hair accessories are just random flowers and butterflies that I got at the craft store and stuck in my hair.

My friends an I went trick or treating, and I am paying for it now with my fibro, but it was lots of fun.

My pain appointment went well. I wen better and worse than I expected. Better because he didn't push injections on me, and set me up with referral to PT and to get a TENS unit, but worse since he didn't think he couldn't help me that much and I didn't get a PRN pain med. But we made some progress and that makes me happy. Tomorrow I am off to RNA for another appointment.

I may not be able to keep up with the daily blogging as I found out yesterday that I am being evicted. I don't want to go into details too much, but I do want to say we do have a place to go for now. So please don't worry too much.

  1. I'd so glad you had a good time on Halloween. You looked amazing! I love my TENS unit so I hope it will work for you, too. I'm happy you have somewhere to go, now. Such a relief for you (you don't need the extra stress). *hugs*

  3. Lovely!! Halloween is so much fun (in the US, anyway - it was so boring here!) and dressing up is so much fun

Hope your housing issue gets better quickly :) Are you going to be moving closer to the cities?
